engine mis-firing 200 1991

I have'91 manual 245. It runs fine most of the time. It will sometimes at start up run rough and the up shift indicator light will blink on and off repeatedly. If i shut it off the plinking light will stop and it may or may not start running beter. It will then sometimes run fine as if nothing is wrong, then it may have a very breif miss, sort of just a blip. All of this behavior is very intermittened. It also does not seem to have the pep of '85 245 automatic. I have replaced the fuel filter, plugs, plug wires, rotor, and cap. all of this in the last 5k miles.
