How to remove A/C unit from dash??? 900

Hello Bricksters,

I am trying to remove the A/C control unit (non- ACC) on a 1992 940 GLE (CAN ed.) in order to replace one of the lights (half of the display lights up and the other doesn't). I have read the FAQ and did a search on the board but I think that the instructions are for an older model.

Mine has the 4 screws which can be removed like the FAQ states but it also has two metal tabs that fold up on the lower corners and seem to impede the release of the unit. What am I missing in trying to yank this thing out without hamming it up?

Thanks in advance,

Tim
