Instrument cluster change in progress -- unprepared as usual 200 1983

I don't know how to plug in the tachometer...
My current cluster has the big clock, I bought a used one with a tach.
I don't see any hanging wires to plug into the tach.
Does that mean I need to splice out of the/a harness to get it done?
Which port goes to the speedo and which goes to the odo?
Also I broke the connector that goes to the central most port (speedo or odo, I'm not sure) when I pulled the cluster out it fell apart.

Crikey!!

Have any of you fine gents swapped out a clock for a tach?
