9004 Headlights 900

Since some of the 900 series Bricks are stuck with the less than optimal 9004 headlamp, I have often seen the Sylvania Silver Star touted as the best option for increasing visibility short of a $$$ HID upgrade. Advanced Auto has them on sale for $27.48 a pair after rebate. This is only about double the price of the standard 9004.
Is this a good price and is Silver Star still the best of the rest?
