Changed my flat! 200 1989

First thing I did this morning was to change my flat before the rain started to pour again. Since I was at home, I used my dad's hydro jack instead of the skimpy Volvo jack, which, by the way, is messed up like the other jack from my 83 245. Looks like the previous owner might have misused it in jacking the car. Anyhow, I was amazed at how simple the job was. The only thing difficult about it was that some of the nuts were really tight, and I literally had to use brute force to loosen them (I'm not a big person). Of course, since I was at home, I had the luxury of using some WD-40 to spray on the nuts. Had I been on the freeway or some unknown place, I think I'd be so frustrated and mad while doing this job. Lesson learned: I now know how to change a flat and KEEP A CAN OF WD-40 in the car!

Although I can't say changing a flat is a big DIY accomplishment, I can say I'm more ready and prepared for another flat. TURBO RIMS WILL GO ON THIS WEEK! Maybe a flat was meant to be!
