having problems starting 200 1987

My 240 won't start! This is the third time this has happened. The first was chalked up top wires or cap being wet, I dried them and it started right up. The second time I dried everything and it started up. This time it started up and died right away. I replaced the wires and cap and it still wouldn't start. Then I found the 25a fuse near the coil was blown and I replaced that, still won't start!!! I neeed help becaus I don't have money to have someone look at it. I'm thinking fuel filter, fuel pump???? Thanks for any help
