having problems starting 200 1987

And at the same time that my'87 is dead 6 hours away from home... I suppose that's what we get for driving old cars. At least with mine, I know the fuel pump relay is new- that was replaced on the last no-start.
We think it's going to be a fuel pressure reuglator and a set of plugs- I'll let everyone know Monday morning what they find.

You need to make certain you have good spark- if so, check that 25A fuse and holder, (they're like $3 even from Volvo) and make sure that you have proper fuel pressure. The 740 FAQ's will help a lot, just ignore items that pertain to 1989 and later cars since the FI system is different.
