having problems starting 200 1987

This also happened to me, stupid wouldn't start and me and my father passed a complete day trying to figure out what it what. Around 9:00PM we decided to put a ground wire from the body to one of the bolts on the engine head, just for try, turn the key: first crank from the starter and she fires up and now runs great. The same thing also happened with two different BMW so I guess them European cars need to have them engines grounded correctly.

Anyway wish you goo luck
