Timing Belt Change Time ('90 744)

Hello All,

My '90 740 GL has been well cared for & it came with a bunch of receipts from the PO which detail a lot of the critical stuff but no mention is made of a timing belt change so I'm a bit worried as it's just turned 187K.

I'm trying not to waste anyone's time so looked up the 700/900 FAQ which gave me quite a lot of info and also scared me silly...

I'm trying to do more of my own maintenance these days and can do oil changes & other basic stuff & I have plenty of tools but this looks like it might be out of my league & I'm not sure...when it started talking about removing the starter/breaking loose the crank bolt etc I got a bit worried.

Can someone who's done it & isn't a master mechanic advise me a bit here?

Thanks

P.S. How much is a genuine Volvo belt?
