flasher unit is next to stereo--start there?

yo weezy,

your prob is getting more and more complex, kinda like my bad back....

we are talking bout a '240?

i know that on '81-83 the flasher unit is down there next to where the stereo wiring would be...put in a radio shack stereo in my '83 while back, had some weird situations after i replaced original flasher unit which had gone dysfuncitonal.

radio shack stereo has r.f. suppressor thing, in line w/main power feed. keeps noise from ignition syst. down....big black box seemed to bang against flasher unit, cause intermittent prob. like yours.

no probs. since i made sure flasher unit was well secured using original factory clip, prev. owner had just left the thing dangling...also lashed down rf supressor w/ wire ties, cleaned up installation as it were.

take your time, elektrical stuff can be a hedbreaker if you let it.

sounds simple but prob. is usually one of the little things imho.

frank in oHIo
