The stock speakers in my 91 740 wagon suck, I have made this conclusion after installing a new Sony CD player. I want to add speakers to the front doors (there are currently none there) and maybe upgrade the ones in the rear doors. Looking for recommendations on brands/model numbers. I'd like to keep a set of 4 decent speakers under $100-$150 if at all possible.

Also, how do I go about installing speakers in the front doors? Are they pre-wired? If so are they driven by the same channel as the front dash speakers?

Any and all advice appreciated!
