Cold Start buzzing 200

Hello Brickers, got another question for you. Since it has been getting colder here in Oklahoma my brick has been feeling more at home. It gets confused when its over 90. Anyway, when I start it in the morning I hear a pronounced ooo--waaahhh-oooooo-wwwaaaahhh sound until it warms up. It starts like a dream on the first few cranks, but runs poorly if I subject it to a load (try to drive it). I've been told by a friend with a peugot and the same CIS inj.system that I'm hearing the constant idle controller valve thing. Could it be the in tank pre pump, and the reduced pressure causing my cold drivability. Once she warms up she's a gem. Just curious if anyone else has experineced this. I love this car, and do drive it long distances, so if it is my in-tank pump, I'd like to replace it before it goes and leaves me stranded. Just want to keep her healthy. Thanks in advance. Later.
