engine vibration sander 240 killing me 200

this is killing me ... I have two 240 turbos, one that I have had for three years and the other for bout three months. both have this vibration that is at its worst at 2000rpm. It is almost like something from the engine is rubbing up against the body somewhere. Every time I go somewhere .... when I get out of the car it is if I have been sanding the floor with my black and decker power sander .... all kinda numb ... especially in the legs. Both my cars have the same problem .... but I know the guy who has my old 240 turbo wagon and it is as smooth as can be ... any thoughts?????
