Cold Engine Low Oil Pressure 700 1988

AN 88 740T w/ 190K Miles...In Cold weather takes 5-45 sec for oil pressure light to go out. (Worse on 15W, better as oil approaches 2000 Mi) When hot goes out almost instantly. Has NEVER came on at low RPM on hot days. Appears to be related to viscosity and will come back on at higher rpm on cold engine until a min or so of warm up. Does this sound like a weak suction on oil pump? Car has had this symptom for 30K miles and gets frequent changes (2-3K) of RotellaT.
Appreciate any similar experiences.
Regards.
