960 Transmission...Do I need a new one?? 900 1995

Hey everyone...

Ok this problem's been bugging for a while now. My '95 964 has a tendency to 'buck' at speeds between 40 and 50mph. Almost feels like it's misfiring. I think it's the lockup in the torque converting trying to lock but it can't quite do it due to laziness or something. It also has a tendency to unlock if you so much as *think* about letting off the gas. I flushed the fluid, made no difference. Now for the question...am I going to be in the market for a new 960 transmission soon? I thought I read that AW40's aren't really servicable, they just get replaced. Thanks!

-Greg
