Brake booster question... 140-160 1972


I suspect that RPR has them. http://www.rprusa.com

If they don't, pull one from a junk yard car and send that
to a place that rebuilds them. Or if you don't need the car
then just pull the one you've got.

In the mean time, you can disconnect the vacuum hose to
the booster. The brakes will work as well as before but
you will really have to stomp on the brakes for them to
work. I've driven my 144 and 164 like this. Fix it as
fast as you can, though.
