seat heater installation 700 1990

Hi guys,

Thinking of installing seat heaters in my 740. My car did not come with them, and to date it's never been a major concern, because where I live is quite warm most of the time. However, I may soon be moving to a place where the climate is colder, so I'm thinking of fitting seat heaters.

I'm thinking of going to my local wreckers and getting most of the parts there (except perhaps the seat heating element - I know they're prone to failure so I may as well install a new set). Can anyone tell me what parts would I need? Switches and relay under the seats? I also know there is 2 types of switches - single speed and dual speed type, what are the difference?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
