'83 Turbo Oil Pressure Problems? 200 1983

My '83 Turbo 240 has 2 - 2.5 BAR (or for the metrically challenged, about 28-35 PSI) right when I start it, but as the engine warms up the pressure drops off the gauge and the light comes on in the instrument panel. It's got the right amount of oil. What could it be? I'm thinking it might be the oil pump but I've lost my Haynes manual and I don't know where the thing is to look at it. Anybody have any ideas?
