960 radio in 700?

What model radio in each? How many speakers was your 760 originally equipped with? Take a look also at the backs of each--especially the 14-or-so rectangular pin connector and the round connector(s). If your 760 had a squarish 9-pin connector instead of the larger rectangular connector, you may have a little wiring to do, but there are diagrams here on the bboard somewhere.
If both have round DIN 6-pin connectors, check your 760 and see if there was an external amp connected to run one or more sets of speakers in addition to the set(s) run off the head unit. It's not a hard project to do--just a matter of getting the right wiring diagrams ( I just finished putting a CR 815 from a 960, Volvo amp, and 6 speakers into my old Dodge pickup truck, starting from scratch with no knowlege other than what I got here on the board)
