rotted gearshift linkage sockets 140-160

i have a colum-mount gearshift selector in my 71 144/b20b/bw35

the rubber liners of the linkage control head and rods in my 144 are all rotted.

does anyone have a sourc for new rods/heads, or know of a pourable or castable plastic/rubber epoxy material for re-lining the female ball joints?

I have reformed one using JB WELD compound, but i have a feeling it won't last long. anybody solve this problem?

feel free to email

regards
