84.5 turbo won't idle

Yep could be that but I'd tank it up with a bunch of gas, because perhaps the connecting hose on the intank fuel pump may be deteriorated/gone causing it to suck air instead of gas. As well go to radio shack and jump fuses 5 and 7 this will activate the main and intank fuel pumps, listen under the car to hear the main one and open the fuel door and gas cap to listen for the intank one.

Now then, if adding a bunch of gas works, then it's the intank connecting hose in which case you'll need to go in the trunk and take out the pump assembly and install a new connecting hose on the fuel pump assembly. Jumping 5 and 7 and getting it to start will indicate that your fuel pump relay is faulty and you need to resolder it, it's easy it's a boxy green relay just above the brake pedal, it's plugged into a socket, get it out and take the cover off, touch a 30 watt soldering iron to each connection and reinstall it. Good luck. Clean the throttle body. How's the wiring harness?

Josh
