Look at the 700/900 FAQ

be really carefull here guys...

metalic (silver) paints can look great when first applied - but go right off due to the aluminium flake size and the lack of stability many have (you really need a 2 pack paint to be stable - and you DO NOT want to be messing with that stuff at home!)

with regard to powder coating - again you really need to know what your doing - or rather the coater does! the material used is quite important as is the loading of the baking oven - if you wheels are loaded wrong - or baked wrong the result can be twisted rims, or worse still stress fractures in the metal (worse because twisted you can see/feel stress fractures you find when the wheel disintegrates!)

My advice go to a specialist wheel re-finisher (and no im not one), I have a local one that i believe charges circa $40 per wheel... and they look like new...
