Value of a 91 244 final update

Good luck in search of your perfect brick.

I agree with you (and anyone else who mentioned) that once you've had a turbo there's no going back. Especially if the turbo's intercooled. Sure the gas mileage sucks (I really need to work on this.. 17mpg with a feather of a right foot is not acceptable), but it hasn't struck me as really unreliable.

I got it for under a grand, and nothing horrible has failed yet. Knock on wood. Lots of little things need fixing, but nothing really relating to the fact that it has a turbo. Sure some stuff is worn out, but that would be the case with any neglected car. All the little lighted switches work too (thanks to the friendly local Volvo dealer!).

My next Volvo will be a later model 245 tho. If I have my way, it will have a tweaked B230FT in it by the time I name it. Cause you know a car just isn't yours until you name it.
