164 tire size options / winter tire suggestions

Well...if you've got piles of 5.5 wheels, I'd be going with 195/65 to keep clearance...and, with all that hwy driving, any little bit to keep revs down helps... Again though...might want to check fender lip clearances for chains.. As George said though...sizes ain't consistant, so if you find a narrow set of the 195/65s, you should be all set.

I very much dislike the strombergs as well... were I you, I'd ditch 'em and get some good SUs.
