New Engine? What Would You Do?

he didn't check the timing belt, but yknow? that's really what it sounds like. because she started running like this all at once. she was running fine one morning when i stopped at the gas station before work. when i restarted her, she chugged and quit (which was very strange), i restarted her and she's run funky ever since. does that sound like a jumped timing belt? i've taken care of her like a child, religiously changed the oil, gave her new plugs, wires every spring and fall. i'm at my wits end here and i love this brick.
