rotted gearshift linkage sockets

try finding the part numbers on www.gcp.se. the dealership might be able to order the bushings. they were able to order the rubber balljoint in which the shifter lever rests in the column.
at least one of the linkage pivots can be replaced with a piece of plastic tube/pipe. it's the link at the bottom of the vertical rod where it connects to the next metal piece. you'll see. the trans will go into drive poorly with out it. Brad M. '70 144s dgv
