I had a '72 142EA that we bought new from the bank in '73. They had foreclosed a local Volvo dealer and were dumping the cars -- bought it for $3500 at the time. I remember sweating to scrape together the dough.

Bright school bus yellow.

So here we are 30 years later and a Volvo costs 10 times that price.

Will a Volvo cost $400,000 in 2032?
