No, I understand that these things happen.

I just got a perfect, complete, and free tailgate from a '91 245 that cost my friend $50. The car has 125k but also has a dented hood, dented fender, broken grill and front lights. Bumper, radiator, A/C are all fine.

Brand new brand V exhaust. Alpine CD system. Electric windows. No rust. He kept the engine (sounds new) and 5-spd tranny, and a whole buncha other stuff.

I would have fixed the car, but he needed the parts more than another project.
