Value of a 91 244 final update

Really?

Geez, my old (now dead) '82 245 4-spd/OD with the MPG engine and 345k on the odo would sometimes see 31-32 mpg on a trip, and regularly got 26-28 combined city-highway commuting.

What was I doing wrong?

My '86 245, A/T, and 275k on the odo regularly gets 24-26 in daily commuting, about half around town.

I must admit ---- as I get older, I drive with a lighter foot.
