Starter wiring 700

'89 740 Turbo

Now that I have forgoten how i took evrything off the car a couple weeks ago, I need help wiring up the cables from the battery to the starter.

Does the blue ground wire attatch to the back of the starter (as Bentley shows in one place, but to the block, in another place) or to the block, which is my guess?

Also, is terminal #16 used for anything? I have one plastic wire which has a natural "bent" which it took over the years.....it seems to want to attatch to #16, rather than to #50

Finally, does the alternator ground to the block (looks like a spot for it next to the battery ground at the block)
