A bit of insanity??? 140-160 1971

There is a lower fascia on a 164 (usually somewhat dented and rusty)
but it is not needed as badly because the bumper is lower in relation
to the grille, so you can get plenty of air in above the bumper.
Most modren cars have the bumper right across the middle of the radiator
so they need an air intake below as well as above. If I remember right
my 73 164 ("Righteous" --NOT!!) might have had a small grill in the lower
fascia because the bumper went straight across and the upper grill stopped
at the bumper. The earlier models neatly put the bumper around the bottom
of the grill.
