Bulb replacement - 960 ECC control 900 1995

Thanks Greg. I'll have to go back at it again. The nature of the trim in the 960 makes the job worse it seems.

Just one confusing point though. In my case, the numerals of the temp control knob are not illuminated (sometimes comes back on if I thump the dash) . The indications around the other 2 knobs are properly lit. The wiring diagram (Volvo green book) shows the control module with what looks like 2 bulbs. From the appearance of the lighting (or lack therof) it looks like there is a bulb for each knob. Or is there simply enough spillover from the left bulb to illuminate the left and centre knobs, but it doesn't quite reach the right knob.
