Fuel Injectors

A shop rag unter the fitting is adequate to sop up expelled fuel as you slowly crack open each one.

I believe the correct way to ease fuel pressure is to disable the fuel delivery system by pulling the fuses for the two pumps while the engine is running. Effectively, you starve the engine.

My car had been sitting for about four weeks before I came to removing my injectors for attention. Both fittings were absolutely dry.
