how about a 900 survey?

my car: 1992 940 Turbo
acquired: Novemebr 2001
miles when acquired: 221000 miles
miles today: 232000 miles
average mileage: 18 in town, 25-27 highway

things that happened:

-broken radiator neck (plastic) had to be replaced
-Changed all belts and front seals (front cam seal was leaking others were precautionary)
-Changed Water pump - bearing was going bad
-Gas gauge has stopped working - always says the tank is full - I currently rely on miles driven to know when to fill her up again.
-Usual sagging of the driver's side rear
-several rattlings from both front and rear that need to be addressed
-usual maintenance - plugs, coolant flush, etc.

Nothing too major.

I have drive the following in the past:

'83 240 N/A
'82 240 Turbo
'87 740Ti

The current 940T is by far my favorite. Gas mileage is a little worse than the others, but I find it much more fun to drive and more appealing/refined.

I hope to keep this one for quite some time. The only drawback is that it is an automatic. I suppose I will have to pcik up another standard some time down the road for fun.
