I don't know what my reputation is, but thanks for a compliment. I found the part number, 1380664. List price is $6.21 US. Since plastic parts like this degrade with time, it doesn't pay to get one at the wrecking yard since the new one is quite cheap. Although the part did fail on my car I didn't feel too bad about it, after all the part has lasted 15 years.

It is easy to criticize Volvo over a plastic piece like this, but most makes of cars don't last long enough to have something like this fail.
