halfshafts--left and right

As far as I know the sides are the same. When I put a new2me one into my 1979 245DL I got an entire rear axle housing, shocks, etc, from the recycle yard, it cost about the same as if they took the thing apart. Checked both sides for silent bearing, and put tht LH half-shaft into the RH side of the 245. Never a problem from that.

Besides, think of the additional inventory and manufacturing control problems if the two sides were different.

Good Luck,

Bob
