A bit of insanity???

I thought of switching to SU's a few years ago. It was based on my "Old car-o-meter" or how easy is it to get parts at the wreckers and autoparts stores. I was told the SU's wouldn't work as well on the 164 because of the difference in the engine size. Has your switch to the Su's made any difference other than the maintenance?

HIF6? I'm not familiar with them.

I was checking out IPD last night and they have a Webber kit for the 140 series. They list the kit and an exhaust header and manifold.

Since I'm no fan of the Zenith-Strombergs I'm looking for another carb solutiont hat's a whole lot easier to tune myself. Or much cheaper for a mechanic to tune when I don't have the time to do it myself.
