engine missing

The engine has 160000 miles, and the compression readings were 120, 160, 160, and 85 in the problem cylinder. The car did have an overheating problem in the summer of 2001 when then secondary fan went out, car got hot several times when the air conditioner was running before I figured it out and had it replaced. It also had a bad fuel pump, which I had replaced a few months ago (had to do it twice because the mechanic forgot to put the sock on the first one and it went quick), but everything seemed fine after that until recently, when the missing became more noticeable. I hate to give up on a car that I just had a bunch of work done on (brakes, timing belt, new tires, new radio, etc.), but it might be time to cut my losses if it's going to take another $2000 or more.
