240 won't start 200

My 1988 240 just cranks and cranks and will not fire up. What do I check first?
I am guessing that it is not getting fuel.

I just spent $800 on new brakes, rear calipers, front end tie rod and wheel bearings among other things, and it repays me by not starting.

Thanks for all of your reply's on Sunday AM.

I love this car, and drive it to keep the miles off the Montero, my son will get it in a year.

I fixed the problem, (the fuel pump fuse was knocked loose)
and will take everyone's advice.
I'm not a great mechanic, and this forum is invaluable.

Brian
