965 Heater Core Repl – Done but not easy

>. If I had to do it again though I would think twice. It seems every time I am tearing down something like this, a clip breaks here and there, one or two get lost somewhere in the dash. <

Haha! When I did my heater fan replacement, I lost that little clip that holds the fan on. Had to get a new one at the dealer. Two days later I found the clip under the windshield washer OUTSIDE the car!

How in BLAZES did that miniature clip get from inside the heater matrix compartment to OUTSIDE the car on the windshield???

I think next time I too might just hire a professional. It's just those 'professionals' screw things up so much. Like last week I had the dealer replace the bashed out window on my 945T... okay. Then just yesterday, I notice the doorlock mechanism is now frozen and no longer works!!!
