How many qts. of trans fluid do I need for a home flush? 900 1994

I'm about to do a flush on the 965 and 240 this week and was wondering how much fluid I would need per car. The faq mentions 8 qts for the 965 and Bay 13 says 16liter or qts for the 850 which is a lot since I'm using synthetic. Any experience would be appreciated.
