It won't start

Thanks for the info, guys. The plugs are dry, the car doesn't spit, belch or anything of the sort. It just won't start. Since the problem started after the cam gear was replaced, I suspect I wasn't as careful as I thought when I installed the new one. Tomorrow, I check it out and, I suspect, remove it and set it right. Incidentally, a guy in town who works a lot on old Volvos has a way of removing the cam gear without damaging it. He gets some wooden shims, of the sort used when installing doors in a house and drives them gently behind the fiber gear until they are firm and push on the gear. Then he taps the end of cam softly (don't want to ruin the cam, right) and the gear can be loosened with minimal chance of damage.

Thanks again. I'll tell you where I screwed up.

Jim
