Wanted: A Black 1993 240 sedan, with low miles.

Hooray for black cars. If you can keep one clean (like washing your car?) then it sure is a nice color. I have one. I wash it all the time. I love it.

I think you're doing the right thing by allowing yourself an automatic, and allowing yourself REASONABLE miles.

Your chances of finding a car like that are much better than saying "low miles" or "only 5-speed", or both.

You WILL probably find a car you're very very happy with, given the ability to be slightly flexible with your wish list. That is key to finding the used car you want.

Also, I say that is an awesome choice. If you're willing to accept, say, a 1992, it is VIRTUALLY the same car, save for R134 air conditioning (which might have already been converted to R134 by this time) and the round-toothed timing belt. Also a slightly different shifter bezel inside the car. Otherwise it is very similar, and there are some stunning examples of 92s out there as well. And they also have ABS brakes. Plus 92s had the black grille (mostly) and black trim, which looks really sharp. And the GL was available in 92, which made it more likely to find one with a sunroof and leather.

Just a couple of options. I stil think you'll come across a 93 if you are patient. Try Ebay too... you never know.
