Making sure it's a LSD 200 1984

Over the weekend I picked up a 240 rear axle, with the understanding that it was Volvo LSD. There was nothing on the axle indicating "anti slip" or anything, just the white vinyl tag that gave the ratio (3.73) and a part number --> 1216105. The local Volvo parts person tells me that there is a reference in her computer about "exclude anti spin", but she said that does not mean that it is not an LSD.

There are also some numbers etc stamped on the top of the diff - Volvo, 384195, A 17, A.

Can anyone help confirm what I have? When placing it on a block and turning one wheel, the other one rotates the same direction. This was so inexpensive, it was worth dragging home even if it becomes a lawn ornament.

Thanks in advance,
dave
