So what symptoms do you have?

If you've got a 240 with an automatic transmission that has four forward gears.. you only have two factory choices AW70 or AW71. For all intents and purposes of yours they're the same thing (unless you plan on rebuilding the thing).

The only thing you'd want to be careful about is the type of fluid that you put in it (either Dexron I/II/III/etc or Type F/G). Your owner's manual (and possibly the dipstick) would have the proper choice.

Before you go trying to fix anything, what symptoms are you seeing?
