differnce between 87 and later B280s?

Thanks, John. Always enjoy your posts...but are you saying that the 87 is the same engine as the 88 and beyond and that when someone alludes to the fact that the 88 and newer B280 is okay that they also mean "so is the 87" because they are identical engines?
