Excessive shocking from my brick, clueless! 200 1988

Ok, so everytime I exit my 244, turn off the key, pull it out and touch the door to close it, the door shocks me with a quick "zap", even with my gloves on! Is this a common problem with '88 244 DL's? Is there an obvious ground that comes loose or is that not the case. I have looked around but have seen nothing and both the seat heaters no longer work in case that has something to do with it.

Any help would ease my hands from electric shock syndrome,
Chuck
