Heated seats

I had the same problem on my '88 244 and found that the wires had broke at the thermostat on the seat of the seat. To check this you need to pull apart the seat and either solder or re-wire short a short piece back together. Easy to do, but the seat is sorta a bear to get apart the first time. All together it should only take you about 1 hour with good instructions, at least for me it did. Also, while you have the seat apart, wash the cloth, makes your car seem like new again. If you would like instructions on this procedure I would be able to email them to you within a day.

I too am from MN and can handle cold, but heated seats sure are nice!!
