No High Idle When Cold. Is This Normal?

Maybe this has something to do with the 940 idle being computer controlled? Just a guess. I know some Volvo's do idle higher when cold, the 240 and 740 w/ manual trannys do, don't know about the automatics, since they may have computer controlled idle.
