How long have you had your brick ?

Great fun reading this stuf.
First Brick was a Grey 1989 760 Turbo. Luxury and speed.
bought it a 75k and traded it in at 96k. Was driven in Chicago traffic and sent to unsuspecting Iowa consumer (me)
Lots of issues-Heated seats failed, driver side window, engine mounts collapsed, etc. ...and best of all....Tabby cat was locked in the trunk overnite and peed all over. The dealer put $3200 into it and used it as a loaner. Most Volvo owners with cars in the shop liked it, but one guy said that it smelled like cat piss. I am still laughing.... they finally sold it. Traded it on a 1995 850 Turbo, Minnesota Highway Patrol did not like me driving it. My wife took an old LTD on the front left quarter at 40 mph. Car was totaled, Wife and Daughter walked away. Bought Daughter a 88 244 dl, she absolutely hated it!!! Once she got her grades up, I bought her a 93 Camry XLE and confiscated the 88 Brick. I am now driving it with glee and keeping miles off the Montero SUV brute. Will be looking for another 850 Turbo when its safe to venture over 100 mph again.
